There's a new way for kids to play, explore, and create at the Randolph Library! The library recently unveiled its new Musical Garden, an interactive outdoor space designed to inspire creativity, movement, and a love of music.
The Musical Garden features a variety of 6 outdoor musical instruments, that children of all ages can play. From chimes and drums to other hands-on sound-making elements, the garden encourages kids to experiment with rhythm, melody, and self-expression while enjoying the fresh air. The instruments also encourage team work and sharing as many can be played by multiple children at once.
The new addition is part of the library's ongoing commitment to providing engaging learning experiences beyond books. Whether families are visiting for story time, checking out summer reading materials, or simply enjoying the outdoor space, the Musical Garden offers a fun and unique way to make every library visit memorable.
One thing I love is they also set up a perfect shaded area with several benches. That makes this is a great experience for grandparents day out or moms who have a young child and an infant.
Best of all, there's no musical experience required—just bring your curiosity and get ready to make some music!
